Jewish Disabilities Network – JDN Social

Jewish Disabilities Network (JDN) is a collaborative initiative of Jewish agencies, organizations, and synagogues working together to create an inclusive and embracing Jewish community for people with disabilities of all ages and their families. JDN Social is the social programming segment of the Jewish Disabilities Network. JDN is supported, in part, by a grant from Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County.

Through disabilities-friendly holiday and Havdalah celebrations, inclusive volunteer opportunities, and other social programming, JDN Social provides opportunities for people with disabilities and their family to participate, connect, and feel a sense of belonging to the Jewish community. JDN Social offers programs for all ages, ranging from young children to adults with disabilities.

Is there a fee for JDN Social events and activities?

Most events have either no cost or very low cost for participating.

What are the age limitations?

Different programs are designed for different age populations. Some programs are for families with children with disabilities, while others are for adults with disabilities. The programs specify whether they are planned for families with young children or adults or both.

Do I have to be Jewish to participate in JDN Social?

The goal of the Jewish Disabilities Network is to connect Jewish families with the Jewish community. However, our agency welcomes all faiths.
