We’re thrilled to share that our very own Chief Clinical and Impact Officer, Dr. Elaine Rotenberg, was recently featured on mosaic, the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County’s TV news and magazine podcast, which aired this past weekend on WPBF/Ch25 (ABC).
In this special segment, Dr. Rotenberg and Eileen Berman discussed the incredible programs and initiatives Alpert JFS is providing to support the mental health needs of the Jewish community.
In light of the October 7, 2023, attacks on innocent Israelis and the widespread antisemitism in the United States and abroad, this initiative is more crucial than ever. We are so proud of the work being done to help break down the barriers to mental health care and provide effective, compassionate support to those in need – all thanks to supporters like you.
Dr. Rotenberg highlighted the strides we’re making in addressing a wide range of mental health challenges, ensuring that our community members have the support they need when they need it most. One of those strides is the new Fund for Mental Health Services, which helps Jewish families overcome financial barriers to accessing essential mental health care.
As Dr. Rotenberg puts it, “The headline of the fund is we do not have to turn away a Jewish individual of any age who is needing mental health or psychiatry services.”
If you missed the episode, don’t worry – you can still watch it online!
