Holocaust Survivors Enjoy Social Time, Commemorate International Holocaust Remembrance Day

The Alpert JFS Holocaust team, with help from Amicable Homecare, produced a beautiful Eat & Schmooze social for over 50 of our Russian and Ukrainian survivors. With the conference room fully outfitted in winter wonderland decorations, survivors sang and danced to Russian-based, live music provided by Sheila’s Music!  We also took a moment during the event to recognize International Holocaust Remembrance Day, which occurs on Friday, January 27. Shear Family Foundation Renews Support of AJFS Food Insecurity Initiatives

Alpert Jewish Family Service is pleased to announce we’ve received a second $250,000 grant from the Shear Family Foundation to help fund the expansion of our food insecurity initiatives.
