In just a few days, the Jewish community will celebrate Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. Here are more amazing photos of our Holocaust Survivors with their Commemorative Medals. It’s been a powerful and moving experience for the Holocaust Assistance Program’s care managers to present these to the survivors. One survivor, who has dementia, livened up and commented “now everyone will believe me.” Another noted that the medals would serve as a legacy for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
