Alpert JFS is grateful to be the recipient of the Mitzvah Monday project at Mandel JCC Palm Beach Gardens and Camp Shalom, Mandel JCC Palm Beach Gardens! Dr. Iris Kiner, Child Psychologist at Alpert JFS, visited the camp to explain the project to the children and she got them very excited! The young campers would decorate grocery bags and fill them with food to donate to the Alpert JFS Kosher Food Pantry. The food pantry provides kosher food for those in our community with the greatest need.

Below is the result of the Mitzvah Monday project! There were so many bags of food, it almost didn’t fit in the van! We extend our sincerest appreciation to the young campers who decorated grocery bags and filled them with food to donate to our food pantry!
