Alpert Jewish Family Service was proud to participate in the Roundtable Discussion on Mental Health, held by Congressman Alcee Hastings and Congresswoman Lois Frankel today. The event was held at Keiser University, with over a dozen mental health care providers in attendance.

We were pleased to also see State Senator Perry Thurston from Broward County and State Senator Bobby Powell present.

This year, Alpert JFS and the Mental Health First Aid Coalition of Palm Beach County are working to expand Mental Health First Aid throughout the county. To date, the agency has led the coalition with the training over of 5,500 people in Palm Beach County. To learn more about our Mental Health First Aid Program, click here.
