Mazel Tov to our 10th Annual No Excuse for Abuse Poster & Poetry Contest Winners
For the past ten years, the KOLOT committee (Kolot means “voices” in Hebrew), the outreach arm of the Alpert JFS Domestic Abuse program, has spearheaded an annual outreach initiative–the poster and poetry contest for Jewish students in grades K through 12 from our local schools, synagogues, and Chabads. Students’ creative submissions highlight the issues of bullying, self-esteem, and healthy relationships.
This year we received a record 103 submissions from Boynton Beach to Jupiter! Thank you to each participant from the JCC’s “Beyond the Bell” program, Temple Beth Am, Meyer Prep, Temple Shaarei Shalom, and Gardens Jewish Experience.
Congratulations to all of this year’s Poster and Poetry contest winners!
