The Jewish Educational Loan Fund

The Jewish Educational Loan Fund – JELF is an interest-free loan that covers college educational and living expenses often overlooked by traditional financial aid, including travel, rent, food, and books. Food Pantry Deliveries Help Family Regain Financial Footing

Cheryl and Dan both had good jobs in hotel sales before the pandemic. They and their two children enjoyed a very stable and comfortable life. Holocaust Survivors Share Stories with Limestone Creek 5th Graders

Last week, three of our Holocaust survivors, Evelyn Grapek, Marie Steinaway, and Alex Metzger, visited Limestone Creek Elementary School in Jupiter to share their stories with nearly 200 fifth-grade students. Discussing the Importance of Mental Health Programs in Tallahassee

Mazel Tov to our 10th Annual No Excuse for Abuse Poster & Poetry Contest Winners

For the past ten years, the KOLOT committee (Kolot means “voices” in Hebrew), the outreach arm of the Alpert JFS Domestic Abuse program, has spearheaded an annual outreach initiative–the poster and poetry contest for Jewish students in grades K through 12 from our local schools, synagogues, and Chabads.
