Alpert JFS Psychologist Helps Young Mother Overcome Mental Health Challenges and Rebuild Relationships  

Sarah is a 34-year-old woman who embarked on a transformative journey when she started therapy with JFS back in 2016. Sarah's life was plagued by erratic moods and unstable relationships, leaving her estranged from her own mother and her 18-month-old son. JFS Care Manager Helps Senior Regain Their Independence and Routine

Rochelle is a 65-year-old woman who has been receiving services from Alpert Jewish Family Service for nearly 15 years. She receives subsidy care management, psychiatry, counseling, friendly visitor and food pantry services, Meals on Wheels, and chore service. She has limited family and social support and minimal finances. Ruth Albert z”l: The Powerful Impact of a Philanthropic Legacy

Sometimes actions speak louder than words. Such is the case with Ruth Albert z”l, who, upon her passing in 2021, left a generous bequest to Ferd & Gladys Alpert Jewish Family Service. Ruth and her late husband Herman or “Hy,” as he was known to friends, were quiet, humble, and dedicated philanthropists. First Annual Recovery Seder

Last week was our first Recovery Seder which took place at Temple Judea in Palm Beach Gardens. About 70 people attended. The Seder was led by Carolyn Yasuna, our Jewish Addiction Outreach Program Director, Rabbi Feivel Strauss, and Cantor Abbie Strauss from Temple Judea. It was a lovely evening that allowed a room full of Jewish individuals, couples, parents, and adult children to celebrate their recovery, their journeys, their Judaism, and their seders. https://www.alpertjfs.org/first-annual-recovery-seder/

Food Pantry Deliveries Help Family Regain Financial Footing

Cheryl and Dan both had good jobs in hotel sales before the pandemic. They and their two children enjoyed a very stable and comfortable life.
