The Jewish Educational Loan Fund

The Jewish Educational Loan Fund – JELF is an interest-free loan that covers college educational and living expenses often overlooked by traditional financial aid, including travel, rent, food, and books. Alpert JFS Psychologist Helps Young Mother Overcome Mental Health Challenges and Rebuild Relationships  

Sarah is a 34-year-old woman who embarked on a transformative journey when she started therapy with JFS back in 2016. Sarah's life was plagued by erratic moods and unstable relationships, leaving her estranged from her own mother and her 18-month-old son.
