Yesterday, volunteers with the Kosher Food Pantry of Alpert Jewish Family Service delivered 130 Thanksgiving meals to friends and neighbors in need throughout Palm Beach County. These included families with young children, homebound seniors, and Holocaust survivors. WPTV was there to capture Marion Shubert’s gratitude as volunteer John Delahunt delivered her meal. It’s been a powerful and moving experience for the Holocaust Assistance Program’s care managers to present these to the survivors.
